Legal Overview
Riverside Networks Computer Sciences was established in 2006 as a non
profit organization for educational purposes by Alastair Agutter
(Senior WWW Developer and Founder). Covering educational material
across a number of fields and in various formats, as a small
contribution in the aid of Human Kind Advancement through Information
Technology and Communications.
Intellectual Property
All content material located and displayed across this web site is the
intellectual property of Riverside Networks Computer Sciences Academy
and contributing authors and publishers. No material is to be copied or
used for commercial gain or profit through any form. This includes the
using of keywords or taking of content to use for the sole purpose of
'Google Adwords' for Profit or any other such similar opportunistic
activity.
Copyright Protection
All content and material is protected under copyright law. This
includes the protection of academy sponsors and advertisers that help
contribute towards the maintenance costs of the Network. These leading
advertisers and brands promotions and advertisement, artwork or
graphics are also protected, including brands and trademarks. The use
of such material is a breech of copyright law and deemed to be passing
off and theft. In the event of such activity in relation to copyright
and the protection of Riverside Networks Computer Sciences Academy
material or Partners will result in legal action in any state
internationally and the appointment of both our legal advisers and
representatives Jordan's International in pursuant of prosecution and
Dunn and Bradstreet for investigations..
Software Licensing
The use of software without licensing constitutes theft and piracy.
Legal action will be sort against any individuals or entities
committing such an offence. States Police will be contacted and formal
requests made to seek prosecution and conviction.
Educational Services and Institutions - Permissions and
Corporate
Exclusions
Material and content can be used for non profit purposes in an
educational sense. Schools, Colleges and Universities are given
permission to use content in the form of written material, creative's
and software that can be in complete bundle form or part add ons, plug
ins and scripting for interactive functionality software program
systems, including html, CGI, Gif, PNG, Jpeg and CSS programming.
Commercial exclusions are News and Media members of the press corps for
when referring to an article or feature covering a topic or service.
Other commercial exclusions are partner members that Riverside Networks
Computer Sciences Academy have a working or development partnership
with regarding a project or licensing contractual agreement entered
into
by both parties.
