So when it comes to members
in
the community like ourselves,
in our 40
and 50's, we are regarded as over the hill and old duffers by the young
and dynamic emerging executives of today. Who now burden us with all
the latest gadgets and gizmo's, many of the products are over
engineered, with the attitude and presumed assumption, that this is
what we need and they know best.
So while this crazy mad
World
that we live in passes you and
me by, I
came to the conclusion a couple of years ago, like many others in their
40's and 50's today, who were active players back in the early 1990's
as either founding web developers or users of the World Wide Web then.
That there is a need today, for a more classical service built on those
original ideals and values.
For those that missed the
phenomena. In the very early
nineties, the
web was great, full of hope, optimism and innocent early hazy day's
surfed by passionate enthusiasts that got it, students and academics.
For me, the World Wide Web
phenomena was like finding the holy
grail
that I had been searching for all my life. For the first time, the
opportunity presented itself, to offer electronic publishing and
broadcasting to business and enterprise of any size. The potential was
both enormous and exhilarating at the same time.
So to be a developer at the
beginning of the dream, was an
experience
that I will never forget. Even today, with clear vivid fond memories
that are now locked in time, that will stay with me for the rest of my
life. So when in 2006 I became ill and then concluded in 2007, that my
health would not improve, or permit me to hop back into the rat race
again. It therefore seemed, only natural, as I wound down all my
business commitments and activities, to start thinking a head and for
prosperity, before I pop my clog's, to keep my hand in as they say and
develop this classic service for those like me that want facts,
information, news and services easily with little fuss.
They often say, that
something is
in your blood, or can get
under your
skin. That's how I feel about the World Wide Web and today, I do not
care for the fraud, misleading services and scams that take advantage
of the most vulnerable in our Society.
I have a passion and
affinity for
the web and care desperately
about
it's future, so while our young warriors battle it out over technology
and money. This is my humble contribution with an aim to impart
valuable news, advice and experience, that has been gathered over many
years in the form of tutorials and reference content.
Hence the decision now,
after all
business affairs are
concluded, to
name this new free service 'Riverside Networks Computer Sciences
Academy' (RNCSA). To clearly define the service as a non profit
enterprise, developed by devoted and passionate volunteers for the
further good of social advancement and development. With a constant
memory of it's founding roots being 'Riverside Networks'. That has
stood for over the years on the World Wide Web, as a shining light and
safe harbour, with time honoured values and integrity.
The Riverside Networks
Internet

ways in which to send your details or articles. This information can be
found here on the contact web
page.
Also, if you know of any

inclusion into the web directory, please forward details also.
Finally, I recall the
emergence
and development of pop up
advertising,
even then back in the late nineties it was one of the worst marketing
concepts ever and one that AOL never recovered from as the main
offender.
Our advertisers here are
the real
deal and you will not be
plagued with
pop up advertisements or any other form of crass marketing. All our
advertisers that support this free service, are all long standing time
honoured World leading brands and household names.
Their support for our
efforts, to
help meet the costs of the
network
servers and maintenance required for this project is further testament
to our long standing relationship, respect and integrity in the global
web community.
It just leaves me to thank
you
for reading our about page and
hope you
enjoy the service as it develops. If you have any ideas on certain web
sites or topics that need covering. Please do not hesitate to get in
